La historia tal cual hay que leerla: la B del título esconde a Brown, Felipe Brown, pero es también la letra primera del apellido de quien es «amigo íntimo» del autor en la vida real, hombre mediático y escritor, finalista del Premio Planeta 2005: Jaime Bayly. Quien, dicho sea de paso, lejos de enfadarse por la imagen que Luis Corbacho ofrece de él, parece disfrutar con su mala fama creciente:
«En la novela, Felipe Brown no queda como un hombre virtuoso. A mí eso no me molesta sino que me divierte y se lo agradezco. Soy mucho peor que Brown, por lo que nunca esperaría que alguien hiciese un retrato literario mío que fuese el de un hombre ejemplar. Luis escribe con desenfado para que Martín, que nunca deja de ser él mismo, nos lo cuente todo con la frescura y la naturalidad de su irresistible español de Buenos Aires, trufado de modismos porteños. Pero esa desenvoltura no oculta los desengaños. La vida en la famosfera a la que accede de la mano de Felipe puede parecer un eterno y glorioso baile de glamour, sofisticación y artificio, y Martín-mariposa se siente irreme-diablemente atraído por sus luces, mas la relación con alguien que es y no es («bisexual las bolas»), que se queda aunque siempre a punto de partir («porque tengo que dedicarme a las niñas, igual me da pena, te extraño tanto») no es fácil. Menos para un veinteañero que aún vive con sus padres y que, tras ser seducido, al cabo de mil requiebros, se confiesa enamorado.

Este libro y el que le sigue están escritos desde la venganza, el odio y la mala leche. Escrito desde un homosexual despechado y que cobró con creces lo que recibió. No lo compren y pierdan su dinero en semejante basura!!!
