A thousand Stars.....

Absolutely loved! the whole series from beginning to end! I love swashbuckling pirates, fair damsels in major distress mixed with Romance and Faith. GREAT combination! Linda Lee Chaikin is a master storyteller, with crisp details, and great characterizations.
Anyone who reads this series is in for a treat!

Spectacular!

I love Linda Chaikin books. This series is my absolute favorite. Just when you think you know what's going to happen, Linda throws in a twist. A must read if you like adventure, intrigue, with a dash of romance.

Let's Sail the Caribbean!

I really liked this series. The best thing about it is the transportation to another time & another place. I'm usually a sucker for a romantic story line, but I thoroughly enjoyed the sword fighting and sailing scenes as well. I found the historical facts on pirating and Henry Morgan fascinating… I even went to Wikipedia to read up on it afterwards!
The first book does get a little wordy with character set-up & a lot to keep track of, but there is enough action to keep you going. The second book contains the best declaration of love ever, and the third book was… too short! That is the only disappointing thing really… there were some final moments I wanted to read about that were skipped, plus a few loose ends left over. Otherwise, it had great characters, great descriptions, and a meaningful story line. I'm sure you'll enjoy it!
